Not all news comes from the news. Despite the consolidation of media companies, social media still gives ordinary people and individuals the chance to spread news on their own terms. While social media companies have every capability to censor material they don't want seen, even a moment's exposure can send a deleted Tweet or Facebook post spreading around the world. This information may not always be accurate, and some of it is downright fabricated. But Kindred would be foolish to discount scrawling on digital walls. They never know what fantastical thing might actually be true.
